The Top 3 - Girl Fights!
Are there two greater words in the English language...probably but when it comes to girl on girl fisticuffs (sounds dirty huh?) there is nary a better site to watch, the world over and after watching the female members of the Mensa house that is Jersey Shore go to town on each other, it got me thinking about the best girl fights on film and TV....Thus, I present to you the top 3 Girl Fights...
3. True Blood Season 3
Bout: Sookie Stackhouse Vs Debbie Pelt
Ah, True Blood - mostly known for naked humans and vampires playing the beast with two backs. However, Season 3 added kick-ass girl fight to its repertoire. The girls have a vampire blood enhanced knock 'em down, drag 'em out fight, that includes scissors, mirrors and a straight shot to the baby maker. Never has Sookie been hotter. Awesome.
2. Inside
Bout: The Woman Vs Sarah
The French makers of wine, cheese and fantastic horror films. Inside is essentially a movie length girl fight. The woman wants what Sarah has and will stop at nothing to get it. A fight that goes places you hope it won't but does and then goes way beyond. The girls scrap with everything that can get their hands on - scissors, knitting needles, shards of glass, toasters and even aerosol cans. With innocent bystanders who get in the way being dispatched very quickly and gruesomely this one long, drawn out bout, is hands down the bloodiest one on record.
1. Kill Bill Vol. 2
Bout: The Bride Vs Elle Driver
Here we are at our number 1 and what a fight it is! The Bride is pretty angry with Bill and the team. When The Bride and Elle Driver face off, it's a ripper. Plenty of kicks, punches, sword play and plucked eyeballs ensue. Spittoon leavings and a toilet swirly cap off the entertainment. I think The Bride said it best when she looked Elle Driver in the eye and spat out the line: "Bitch, you don't have a future."
